A gift from mother nature, truffles are entirely wild. They grow naturally between September and January underground in the forests of Alba. They are free of chemicals, fertilizer, and GMOs. After harvest, they are brushed clean of natural soils and ready to enjoy.
These Truffles are about 1 OZ in weight per piece (So we are not giving you crumbs). They are about the size of a golf ball.

Easy to Cook with Truffles
While it may seem intimidating at the onset, cooking with truffles is easy!
The best pairings for truffles are the easiest to cook. Here are a few recipe ideas to inspire you:
White truffle shaved on top of a sunny side up egg
Black truffle shavings on scrambled eggs
White slices layered beneath and on top of a cheese fondue pasta (Triple Truffle Pasta recipe below)
To make Triple Truffle Pasta:
Add shredded melting cheese with a little bit of milk and one egg yolk to a bowl on top of a double boiler
Whisk vigorously until melted and toss with a cooked ribbon pasta
Place truffles at the bottom of your serving dish
Portion out fondue cheese pasta on your dish
Shave more truffles on top and drizzle with olive oil
Serve and enjoy!

You can choose how you want to portion out truffles across your meal. Here are our recommended serving sizes.
White Winter Truffles - 10 grams (1/3 ounce) per dish or 1 ounce for 3 dishes
Black Truffles - 20 grams (2/3 ounces) per dish or 3 ounces for 3 to 4 dishes

What happens if my order is lost in the mail or late?
We’ve got you covered! Truffles bring joy and happiness. A glitch should not spoil the fun. We will resend your package again and monitor it closely until it’s safely in your hands.
What is the best way to store my truffles?
Preserve your truffles by wrapping them with a paper towel and placing them in an airtight glass or plastic container. Store in the refrigerator. Change the paper towel everyday until consumed.
How long do truffles keep in the refrigerator?
There are variances across truffle varieties and time of harvest. If stored properly, black truffles keep for 10 to 15 days. White truffles keep for 7 to 10 days. They last longer when harvested mid-season.

Best truffles directly to my door. Game changer for many dishes I love to make.
I have used the truffle butter quite a bit, but, after reading a little about truffles I decided to try a real winter truffle. It arrived on in good condition on the day it was supposed to and was placed in the refrigerator in my Arborio rice container. It was very aromatic, earthy, and pungent. Served in risotto and with eggs over the following 10 day period with no perceptible degradation of aroma or flavor.
Now That's a Saturday Night Dinner for the Memory Books!!
One doesn't often make the jump to pull off white truffles at a restaurant or at home for that matter....
I'm traveling this year during Valentine's Day (in trouble) so I wanted to surprise my wife with an early celebration.
Truffles were ordered Wednesday and they arrived first thing Friday morning. Knock on the door, signed, opened package, and happy to find my beautiful surprise nice and cold. Tons of paper towels as a bed and an ice pack.
I had to get to work so I wrapped my smelly gem in a papertowel, placed in small tuppeware, and put in veggie compartment for safe keeping ;)
As I've made risotto several times I was pretty confident I could pull off this dish.
Good Arborio Rice
Homemade chicken stock that I added tons of garlic and made ahead of time.
Added a good white wine once the rice was toasted off. I used olive oil and butter for this.
Slowly added the stock one ladle at a time until rice was just right.
I did add some shaved truffle into the dish while cooking right at the end and but I used the majority of the truffle at the table.
And of course Parmigiano-Reggiano at the table too.
We can't do this often, but what a treat!!!
